Squadel · iOS, Apple Watch & Android

Terms of Use

Effective 2026-06-06 · Last updated 2026-08-02

These terms govern your use of Squadel, an iOS, Apple Watch and Android app published by reiss.dev (“we”, “us”). Creating an account or using the app means you accept them.

What Squadel is

Squadel helps friends organise casual padel — private “squads”, games and RSVPs, live scoring, stats, splitting the court cost, and a small social feed. It is not a court-booking marketplace and does not take payment for courts; the cost ledger only tracks who owes whom.

Your account

Squadel uses Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use it. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the content you create.

Community rules & objectionable content

Squadel includes user-generated content — display names, usernames, profile photos, squad names, comments, reactions and squad chat. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights, and not to impersonate others or abuse other players.

You can report a comment or a player, and block any player so their content disappears for you, from within the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users — typically within 24 hours — including removing content and removing or banning accounts. By using Squadel you agree to these terms as the in-app EULA covering user content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app, not to disrupt or attack the service, not to access data that isn't yours, and not to use the app in violation of applicable law.

Subscriptions

Squadel may offer an optional Squadel Pro subscription. Where offered, subscriptions are billed by the store you bought them from and renew automatically until cancelled. On iPhone that's your Apple ID — review or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings, with refunds handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android it's your Google account — review or cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions, with refunds handled by Google. Pricing is shown in-app before purchase, and the relevant store's payment terms apply.

Availability and changes

We may update Squadel over time — bug fixes, new features, design changes — and may change or discontinue features at our discretion. Material changes that affect your rights or data will be surfaced in-app before they take effect.

No warranty

Squadel is provided as is. We make no warranties (express or implied) that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the app is limited to the amount you have paid us (via Apple) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
